BIOHACKS
Biohacking, also known as human enhancement or body hacking, involves making intentional changes to one's biology and lifestyle to improve health, well-being, and performance. It encompasses a wide range of practices, from dietary adjustments and exercise routines to the use of technology and supplements. Essentially, biohacking is about understanding your body's systems and making strategic choices to optimize its function.
Sunlight
There’s nothing more therapeutic than starting every day the right way. And there’s no better way than by getting in the first light of the day. Exposure to natural sunlight, especially during the early hours of the day, offers a range of benefits for our physical and mental well-being.
Cold Water
The idea of a cold shower might seem daunting at first, but you can ease into it. If you need to start small, try starting with a regular shower first, and then turning the water to cold near the end. You can always start with 30 seconds and gradually increase the time as you become more comfortable. It's all about finding the balance that works for you.
Grounding
Grounding is the practice of making direct contact with the surface of the Earth, such as walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil. This direct contact allows the body to absorb free electrons from the Earth, and literally discharge into the earth, which can neutralize free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.
Breathwork
Breathing is the most essential thing we do as humans. It's intuitive, and it's how we get the supply of oxygen we need to fuel every cell in our bodies. It's fundamental to making sure everything in our body works non-stop, every moment of every day.
Sauna
In a sauna, people cleanse their bodies and minds and embrace a sense of inner peace. Traditionally, the sauna has been considered as a sacred space – a 'church of nature'. At the heart of the experience lies löyly, the spirit or steam released by casting water onto a stack of heated stones.
